Mattress Underlay is a highly cost effective underlay suitable for use within any care environment. This innovative Mattress Underlay is designed to provide an even surface on a slated bed, for alternation pressure mattresses without an integral base layer, it also provides a protective underlay in the event of deflation. With its 50mm (2") thickness the EU Mattress Underlay is designed to be positioned underneath an alternating pressure mattress to prevent any part of the mattress becoming entangled with the frame of the bed. Being only 50mm deep this underlay helps keeps the laying surface within the regulation 220mm to the top of the side rail. As standard this Mattress Underlay comes supplied with a Polyurethane, Vapour permeable cover which can either be wiped clean or removed for cleaning.
