A low profiling bed is a height adjustable bed that usually features side rails to help prevent patients from falls. They are designed to cater for those with low mobility such as the disable and chronically ill and are therefore commonly found in care homes, hospitals and domestic environments such as the home. They have been found to improve the mobility of patients as well as improving the capabilities of the carer.

The Prestige low profiling bed by Renray has been designed, developed and manufactured to offer the user the opportunity to set the mattress platform at a very low height. Combining wooden head and foot boards with a metal slatted mattress platform and wooden side rails it has an incredible maximum user weight of 180KG (28st).
