New Build Residential Care Home

This residential care home required a high end hotel style look while still keeping a modern, warm and comfortable feel for residents. Renray designed bespoke furniture as part of a complete turnkey package including interior design advice. Bedroom furniture, beds, soft furnishings, carpets and flooring. We are proud to have been part of this lovely care home, its individual style and beautiful pieces like the grand piano and art deco cinema make it charming.

This residential care home is part of a small family run care group with a total of 4 homes. Their ethos is to provide the very best of care and lifestyle choices for their residents and they do so this by providing high end facilities. This purpose built and state of the art, contemporary home has a high end hotel style and look. This compliments the fees which are amongst the highest in the area.

Renray provided a complete turnkey package, including extensive interior design advice; designing bespoke furniture for the reception and dining area. A luxurious theme ran throughout the building, from a piano lounge with an elegant chandelier and complementary furniture perfect for entertaining the residents. A comfortable and stylish dining room gives a feel of fine dining. The art deco inspired cinema and contemporary lounge, give a classic twist in this modern home. The detail in this project is easy to see, with thought and extensive planning going into each room.

The soft furnishings we designed and manufactured in-house were a cut above the rest, with additional detail going into the pelmets and tiebacks to help frame each room and give a feeling of real luxury.

The Moorings had a vision of a huge feature wall (7m x 3m) with an image of the last green and clubhouse of a famous golf club. The problem we encountered was that the image they had chosen was no longer available and similar images didn’t have the correct pixilation for us to enlarge to fit the wall. To overcome this, we carried out research and ended up contacting the photographer, via the golf club and its committee to buy the rights to an alternative image, to ensure our customer was happy with the end result. This was one of the ways we assisted this customer in getting around bumps in the road on the way to completion of his new care home. Furthermore, due to the high end nature of this project, after installation there were some snagging issues however due to the scale of the project, we had contingency plans in place so were able to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
