A truly exceptional new build care home in Portsmouth

Once again, Renray Healthcare and Hartford Care have worked harmoniously together to create a beautiful care home. The Brand Director of Hartford Care is open to experimenting with new colour palettes, designs and fabrics and this project was no exception! Pushing the boundaries of interior design, our dedicated Project Manager and extended Renray team helped Hartford Care achieve its vision of designing a cutting edge care home that perfectly blends interior schemes which give the wow factor, whilst being comfortable and practical for its residents.

Distinctive areas and themes run throughout the care home; from a library perfectly themed and accessorised to entice the explorer in you. Named The Captain’s Quarters, the accent colours of nautical blues and calming creams, vintage furniture in dark mahogany and oak, and gadgets and accessories, including a world globe, all lend themselves well to the Naval history of the city of Portsmouth. A dining area fit for a tea party with lounge seating and dining chairs expertly upholstered in bright, jewel shades, with matching tables, ornaments and accessories, are perfectly off set by the polka dot and stripe pelmet and curtains. A majestic parlour with heavy, crushed velvet tablecloths and fabrics, elegant pelmets and curtains, chandeliers, beautiful upholstery and piping on plush, comfortable high back chairs and sofas, and damask inspired patterns. Day spaces in both bright, bold, neon colours and patterns or more nature inspired colour palettes of rustic oranges, warming browns and soothing greens – there is a room for all personalities to relax and unwind. Furthermore, the expertly crafted curtains and pelmets perfectly frame and compliment the interior schemes chosen for each area.

 
The level of detail put into this project is easy to see, every nook and cranny has been meticulously planned and designed, from bedrooms and corridors, to the salon, day spaces, dining areas; the quality of the design and finish is second to none.

 
Being our 4th completed new build project with Hartford Care, we have a thorough understanding of their project goals and vision and by combining our interior design and project management services with good communication with Hartford Care’s team, has aided us in making another successful and amazing care home.
